Here at Denton Park, we operate a triage system which is based around each patient being triaged by a GP or a Nurse Practitioner to ensure they are booked into the correct appointment with the most appropriate member of staff.
Our admin team do NOT have the ability to book same day appointments, and if you wish to be seen you should call the practice between 8-9am in the morning to be added to this list.
We do need to cap the list at around 50-60 patients each day as we simply do not have the capacity or appointments to triage more. You may be asked to call back or signposted to a different service if you call after this time.
Our admin team have been receiving lots of abuse via the telephone with patients becoming frustrated when they cannot book them into an appointment right away. Please remember to always be polite and respectful to our team who are trying to help you. Anyone shouting, swearing or being abusive will be asked to call back when they are feeling calmer.
Due to circumstances out with our control, the summer months will be very busy due to reduced capacity. Please bear with us while we navigate this and continue to try to offer a good standard of care. We understand that everyone feels their own health issue is urgent, however all our clinical staff are highly trained and able to appropriately prioritise patient needs. As always, we must make sure our sickest patients are seen first.
